Singer Fergie Shares Struggle with Demons and How She Found Hope

Stacy Ann Ferguson, lead singer of the Black Eyed Peas who is known by her stage name “Fergie,” shares in a new music video about wrestling with her demons and how she found peace.

Fergie’s new music video and song is titled “A Little Work.” In that video she shares how she was struggling with seeing literal demons.

“I got to a point where I was seeing devils everywhere. Devil faces. Creatures that would appear to me and say ‘fly, fly, fly,’” she shares. “I would constantly be in the state of just listening to these characters, or these demons, or creatures — what they were going to tell me, what their messages were.”

” I was just going to lose it. I was about to start screaming at everybody on the street,” she continues.

But then she saw a church, a sign of hope.

“I saw this church and there was nobody in there. I started to go through the different aisles and I started to pray,” she says in the video.

She realized that she was in a spiritual battle between good and evil. “It was just this epiphany I had in this holy war. The war between good and evil, that good will always be more powerful,” she says. “I had to really work hard at telling the visions, the spirits, to go away,” she recalls. “I had to say it out loud — ‘Leave me alone. I choose the good.'”

Fergie is married to actor Josh Duhamel and they have a son together. Although in the video Fergie mentions how the epiphany has helped her to love her husband and son better, according to CBN News , Fergie and Duhamel have since separated.
